I hate talking to them on the phone so I just order them online. They have to be able to charge extra for the core in the event of crash/fire/theft, so I wonder what happens if you put in your VIN and mileage for the PPV cluster you want. If I didn't have a work truck interior I would give it a try.

I just took the vin off a PPV Tahoe I saw parked in a local mall and used that to order a cluster from my local dealer. The local guy had been told he was losing his dealership so maybe he just didn't care.

I can get my hands on one but I was told they will not program it to my truck if u guys know where I can go then I'll get it

I think anybody with a Tech2 and a computer can program it. Mine wasn't even programmed by a dealer.

Mine works great also. Although I did recently get a non-recurring comm error that seemed to point back to the cluster. Don't know what I'll do if the cluster dies.
