Its a day and night difference. The first run i did a few years ago was all stock and it put down about 290hp and 306ft lbs to the wheels, so you can only imagine what it feels like now

That is impressive. I traded my '04 HD for a '08 last week and the power/acceleration is tons better. Mine just has a muffler on it and it will blow my '04 off the road. I'm thinking a CAI & tune will really wake it up.
Are you running premium fuel or regular? Think I'll run premium for a while and see how it does, since 9.67:1 is kinda getting up there.

Premium will do absolutely nothing for your truck unless you are tuned for it. You may actually pass more unburnt fuel if you go with a higher octane than necessary because the flash point is higher and you have neither the timing nor compression to take advantage of it. This could hurt your power or mpgs, worst case scenario, plus you spend more per gallon for zero gain. Now with a tune it's another story.
