hmm, 220 miles and already dropped eh? thats the way to do it
I knew what I wanted to do before I bought the truck. I bought the truck, drove it home and parked it, went inside and ordered my stuff. It took _almost_ a month for Godfather cutsoms to drop-ship me a kit from McGaughys. Then, in the McGaughys kit, they shipped the wrong front coils, which we didn't figure out intil the truck was put back together, so it sat at my mechanics for a week. I had to drive the truck to and from the tire shop multiple times (don't get me started on the retards at Discount Tire in Lubbock Texas), and dropped the truck off to have it lowered with 175 miles on it.

So far, things have been a pain in the ***, but it's worth it.

Man, I'm not normally a fan of black wheels on red trucks or even black wheels with the polished lip, but that looks excellent. Good job.

Sorry for the delay in reply: Yes, pulled the front bumpstops off and cut them in half.

I need to get some new pics up, installed the GM parts red grille with chrome insert. I actually went with chrome door handles because I couldnt find the part number for red ones for some reason, plus I'm just being lazy. Going to leave the bumpers chrome, do something with the mirrors, and drive it. This is my DD, so it will probably not get a whole lot more than that. The GTO and Blazer get most of my money these days!

They are on the strut shaft inside the spring/boot area...kinda white looking. It says to cut some off in the instructions because with the softer coils it will bottom out easier at factory length.

whoops... that is one thing i dont like about the mcg coils... they are too soft and make the front too bouncy! anyone make stiffer 2" drop coils?
