So tell me again why having semi's on both sides of you means you can't shut the truck off and put it in neutral?

I did not want to get rear ended with the semis on each side.

I talked the the service manager and He mentioned to me that the floor mats have been known to cause this. My truck still has the sticky paper on the front floor with the mat upside down. Could have triggered the reaction.

I removed that film. This is not the first time he has heard of this but each time it had been to loose floor mats or having multiple matts. each time the users secured the floor mats or removed or replaced the floor mats so they dont move and issue did not come back.

I think you'd notice if it was floor mats, like if the pedal was stuck at the floor.

My truck did the same thing, floor mat not even in truck. I had to shut it off to stop. Restarted the truck, and havent had a problem since. You werent halucinating, and it is scary.I was in town, and goosed it to keep from gettin hit by a moron that ran a red light. Dirty throttle body may be sticking.

Ive had the issue on three different vehicles. It was the floor mats everytime. It happened so frequently in my Caddy i tried a couple different mat styles but I ended up ditching the floor mats altogether and the problem went away.
