@ 06tx4.8 ..... Lol have u had it for more than 8000 miles lol .... And he told me that the cam for no reason make the transmission go out so he said that it should be fine as long as there was no tune with torque management removed and 6500 Rpm shift points, with adjusted line pressure... If they got into and repaired it an decided it was my fault he said it would roughly be 3000 dollars plus my courtesy car rental bill ... So I might as well get it built ...

Still see if they will fix it for free tell them after its all done that the repair guy said it was under warrenty I would try to screw them over, 8000 miles on a tranny regardless is a manufacturing problem

what r u talking about 8000 miles??? i had 3k on my performabuilt with a PI 3600 stall, spun my ls1 to 7k almost everytime i drove it, and it never missed a beat. and the cam isnt gonna make a tranny go out, other than line pressure and shift points, what mods were done to the tranny? tranny cooler and servo are almost mandatory when u start modding ur engine. Those 2 small things make a big difference!!

I have a Servo and shift kit with the drilled holes in the plate and what not, I thought about going that route with them fixing it, but I'm just gonna blow it up again... And besides they said if they get into and see anything that I did wrong that could have caused it, I would have to fork out the money for the 3000+ dollar stock trans rebuild plus the price o their rental they give me. And the 8000 mile comment was in reference to the 8000 miles I had on mine before it blew up on the road today ...

So its been opened up.... You sure whoever did the work put Dexron V back in and not IV? Easy mistake to make but these new 4L60's use DexV and its not compatible with older IV and III Dex. Might explain the grenade a bit

Even still the 4L60 is no screaming hell imo they are barely good enough for a V6 let alone a V8. Crazy that GM didnt use the 4L80E as the goto unit for these trucks

Ya I'm sure I put the right fluid back into it lol ... And ya it's a turd... Wheatley took most of the torque management out of it and raised shift points and it only lasted 3 weeks lol.... I'm gonna get it built from circle d trans and get my stall put in while they are in it ....
