My time slip still has room for improvement also, with just more tuning (mostly transmission tuning), I feel confident we will drop another .3 to .4 tenths when we start tuning the 6 speed as it hasn't really been tuned yet.
Nelson dropped some serious time on my 2010 CC 5.3 6L80e by getting the transmission dialed in and shifting just right.
I want to see how much improvement we see before doing my next mod which is a Circle D 3000 Converter.
I think there's more on the table engine tuning wise also as he hasn't spent much time at all on my truck, HPT didn't get him the update until late in the afternoon on the day I was picking it up.
Then his dyno broke on first stock pull so my truck hasn't even been dyno'd, so all in all I must say I am more than impressed and happy with the 6.2 platform.

No. Just no.
Vacuum-assisted brakes use engine vacuum applied over a diaphragm to reduce the force required on the pedal. The vacuum pressure is small, so the diaphragm has to be large and thats why the huge power booster is mounted behind the master cylinder.
Hydro-boost brakes use power steering pump pressure to reduce the force require on the pedal. The power steering pressure is higher, so it doesn't need the huge diaphragm resulting in a much smaller unit.
ALSO, in all the 6.2L Sierras and Sierra Denali's I have looked at, I have never seen one with Hydroboost from the factory. Not saying it doesn't exist, but I think someone was mistaken, IMO.

That is an awesome sounding setup....I have never heard of it before.
You do learn something new every day.

Another congrats on yer choice. I knew you'd be happy, especially with that brake setup. It hardly woks at all, too- compared to 5.3. Ya don't hafta wind the **** out of it to get anywhere, but you can when you need to, then things really happen, eh..............

I'm really not sure, I just had the dealer do it before I picked it up. All I know is that it was approved by Chevrolet before they started installing them. I'll see if I can find out.

Thanks rjwz28, I actually didn't think of asking the dealer. If you do happen to find out what yours is, there's another thread going on "Leveling Kits" so I won't have totally hijacked this one.
