Thanks double047! And from your time slip it looks like you agree that the mild pain of slightly lower gas mileage is better than the agony of wishing for more power. Good philosophy.

Yes Sir, I agree totally, like more than 100%.

My time slip still has room for improvement also, with just more tuning (mostly transmission tuning), I feel confident we will drop another .3 to .4 tenths when we start tuning the 6 speed as it hasn't really been tuned yet.

Nelson dropped some serious time on my 2010 CC 5.3 6L80e by getting the transmission dialed in and shifting just right.

I want to see how much improvement we see before doing my next mod which is a Circle D 3000 Converter.

I think there's more on the table engine tuning wise also as he hasn't spent much time at all on my truck, HPT didn't get him the update until late in the afternoon on the day I was picking it up.

Then his dyno broke on first stock pull so my truck hasn't even been dyno'd, so all in all I must say I am more than impressed and happy with the 6.2 platform.

6.2 really does have a nice brake setup. Even with the taller tires I never find myself needing more braking power.

It looks like you're running the same size tires I plan on getting, too. Which leveling kit did you get?

ALSO, in all the 6.2L Sierras and Sierra Denali's I have looked at, I have never seen one with Hydroboost from the factory. Not saying it doesn't exist, but I think someone was mistaken, IMO.
Makes sense that I cant see it in the spec sheets or options.

That is an awesome sounding setup....I have never heard of it before.
You do learn something new every day.

Another congrats on yer choice. I knew you'd be happy, especially with that brake setup. It hardly woks at all, too- compared to 5.3. Ya don't hafta wind the **** out of it to get anywhere, but you can when you need to, then things really happen, eh..............

I'm really not sure, I just had the dealer do it before I picked it up. All I know is that it was approved by Chevrolet before they started installing them. I'll see if I can find out.

Thanks rjwz28, I actually didn't think of asking the dealer. If you do happen to find out what yours is, there's another thread going on "Leveling Kits" so I won't have totally hijacked this one.
