2011 6.2 cat back questions

Question 2011 6.2 cat back questions

i am going tomorrow to git a custom cat back made for my truck i have some questions first tho i know i doing it in 3.5 in and exiting it in the factory location my first qustion is will i lose hp and tq if i run a straight in the aforementioned configuration if so the next question is what muffler do these 6.2's like i would also like to add that i like my vehicles loud

I lost 7hp unbolting my stock exhaust

Not into loud slow. Stuff
If it is fast then it can b loud

If you plan on keeping the stock configuration of the exhaust, then why get a custom catback? Replace the muff with your preference or delete it, and do the same with the resonator. Then it will be tuned to your tastes without spending a fortune on more pipe the same size as the stuff on your truck already. If you really want a straight-in, straight-out muffler, the pipe in front of the muffler can apparently be flipped to line up with the factory muffler-back tubing (https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=481006)

well thats just the thing i cant go that rout because i need to keep the stock exhaust intact so i can change it out if need be

Out of curiousity: why do you need to quickly swap back to a factory catback?
