Default 2011' 6.2 without AFM

Ordered a 11' pickup with 6.2. On the build options it lists the engine as being a L9H 6.2 non-active fuel managment. I haven't looked into it since yesterday but aren't the caddy's and denalis equipped with AFM. I don't care way easier to play with now. Just curious?

Escalades definitely have it, trucks don't though...not sure about the denalis.

*EDIT* Anything new on the '11s?

My first new truck in 13 years special ordered through a local dealer so I can get it exactly the way I want it. I can't wait till it comes in should be another month to six weeks it looks like. Midnite blue, tan interior Cc 4wd 6.2 SLT GMC.

Wife and I had a deal she gets house. I get truck later/ It's later now.

It will be the last one for a long time since it's what I want. 36500 before taxes.

Thats not bad - Is the XLE the same for GMC as the LTZ package for Chevys. In other words fully loaded - leather, backup sensor, bucket seats, etc. I was looking at a 2010 6.2L before I got the 2007 6.0 Max and they told me that you could only get the AFM on the 5.3L engine in the trucks right now. The LTZ CC 4x4 that I was looking at was $46K before taxes or rebates - that was sticker.

SLT = LTZ, Only reason I ordered the slt is because I hate the dash and door panels in the SLE 1,2 and wanted the power fold mirrors. I din't get the back up sensing crap or nav. I have mirrors to back up and a pioneer nav and system thats goin in once it shows up.

you gonna love the 6.2.. its a beast in stock form... i got lucky and found one like i want... the sticker was 36700 or something like that... i got it for 30,500 with the 5000 rebate on the 2010s..... SLE though...

the blue looks killer.. only reason i wanted white is because my last truck was dark blue and at ten years old the paint didnt look so good and it was a pain to keep clean....

NO AFM here

Sorry I don't know where the X came in there on my previous post. I didn't get the Nav either. I personally think it is a huge waste of money if you have nav on your phone that is free and updates daily. I do have the back up sensors and actually like them - I didn't think I would but it helps in parking lots when it gets tight. I test drove one of the 6.2L Chevys and they are SWEET. Lots of power - so it looks like you won't be getting much sleep since you are now on Christmas Eve for the next 6 weeks waiting on it to get here. Enjoy
