Will a quality set of LT headers make a noticeable difference in performance over the factory exhaust? Since the L96 has the L92 heads, are there headers available for the L96 in the Suburban 2500? I haven't been able to find a CAI listed specifically for a 2010-2011 Suburban 2500 with the 6.0 L96. Anyone running any kind of an upgrade on the intake on a 2010-2011 3/4 ton Suburban/Yukon XL? I'd like to get the intake and exhaust upgrades sooner than later as I'm definately going to get a Black Bear tune.

What's the best source for quality headers?

You will be very happy with a tune from Justin at Blackbear. I would recommend a Volant Intake. The fit and finish is perfect and it is a true sealed cold air intake. Not a bent piece of sheet metal with weatherstrip on top.

Reopening this thread.....
I have a 2013 suburban 2500 with 6.0 L96. I put a Volant CAI with powercore filter and WITH the ram air tube and it fits awesome. I also put on Hellwig front and rear sway bars and they are amazing. My truck is getting ready to be sent to SLP Specialty vehicles to get their TVS 2300 supercharger package installed. I gave them the deposit, just waiting for the date the car carrier is to show up. I will start a new thread to discuss the results of the install. I will be selling the Volant after the install since SLP package comes with their CAI and wont honor the warranty if they connect to someone else's CAI. I also wanted to let you know that I talked to the owner of ARH and they do make a set of headers for our trucks that DO NOT interfere with the steering shaft, they corrected previous reported issues. I plan using up some of my warranty period before I put on a smaller pulley and headers, in the future. Oh, and I also have BB tune via autocal and its awesome.

As far as better performance while towing, you will always benefit from deeper gears. Those things are tanks anyway.

Tune, gears, trans cooler, then headers and exhaust. I have never seen any big difference with a cold air intake.
