2012 silverado 1500 6L80E
I scored a new truck that has a burned trans its a 2012 silverado 1500 4x4 its only got first and second, I decided I'm going to rebuild the trans myself and invest in some tools and test equipment, I'm also dropping my 427 in front of it that has a 224/232 cam and afr heads making around 600 crank, Would this trans combo be up to the task?

I don't see why not, guys make over 500-600 to the tire in supercharged and turbo trucks. If you do stupid stuff with the truck, you'll likely break stuff. Like doing 6-2 downshifts and what not. Your combo is going to be in that 500 something horsepower.
No idea who you really suggest for a tuner. Something like that would need to be tuned in person. I know a lot of guys can do remote tuning and are good at it but in person is way better.

As FFDP said don’t let it downshift under power, use TUTD get it in the gear you want and let it eat. I’d add the Circle D 35R waffle clutches.

I’m not sure mine has the sonnax billet pistons.

Watch the rebuild videos from NickTransmissions on YT. He's got the best, most detailed videos out there for free. He talks about all the internal upgrades you need to do (there's quite a bit of them it seems like). He even has a video on all the tools you need.

Yes, I did the billet input and billet output carrier. I was told with heavy trucks and bigs wheels and tires you will need it if you want quick shifts.
