Default 2012 Silverado Grill Removal?

How do you remove the front grill assembly on the new silverado's? I've had the truck now for about 8 months and never noticed until a few days ago, but the grill is not adjusted properly with the hood and lights. Its caddy-whompas. Now its all I see every time I look at the truck and its driving me crazy. Need to pull it and see how to adjust it and line everything up.

Pull the upper radiator shroud, there are 10 or so of those black plastic clips where you lift the center, then pull the entire clip out.

The grill is then held in with 4 10mm bolts along the top, and had 6-8 clips on the back of it, you will likely need some needle nose pliers to get the clips out.

Get that shroud off, you will see how easy it is. It takes about 5 minutes to pull it off, max.

There's really no vertical adjustability, and very little lateral play either. Really the most you can do is adjust the top of the grill in or out. Try loosening the top bolts first before you attack the clips, which are a pain. Headlights need to come out too, so try playing with it once the bolts are loosened first before going any further.

Thanks guys. Preston, yeah its not off that much vertically, its almost like the passenger side of the grille is pushed in a 1/4 of an inch or so. Maybe off a little bit vertical, but not much. Honestly is looks like its sitting under the lip of the hood. I'll give it a shot this evening and see what I can come up with.
