True, true. the reg. cab I traded in was a 2wd Z71 also. Sure it would be nice to have a 4x4, but honestly I have no real reason for it. I had an 06 Z71 and took it offroad about once a year going to the in-laws. I mainly wanted it for the suspension and the 18" wheels, plus the appearance package being all color matched.

The Z71 appearance package is SHARP. When I get my '11 I wanted to order one with it in Taupe Grey Metallic, but got impatient and took the only 6.2 they had on the lot that day. At least it had the color matched grille but the irony was I initially told them I wanted any color but white or red if I really had to get something NOW. The Z71 inlay in the gauge is new..............nice touch.

lol, They are pretty tough to come by even around here, though they are a little more common. Ironically enough, I was not remotely interested in White or Black. The black is sexy, but is sooooo damn difficult to keep clean. I owned 3 black vehicles in a row out of high school and college and vowed I'd never own another. LOL. Funny though as now everyone that works at my company drives a black truck, I was the last holdout.

Oh yeah and congrats on the new rig! I did mine completely through e-mail as well after leaving a dealership pissed off several weeks prior. Knew what I would pay before I ever test drove my truck.
