its looking like I can get a circle d stall converter in there and a tune in june. posssssibly fuel injectors in preparation for the turbo.

is it worth my while getting the injecors in well before the turbo?

ok so ill keep the 3.42's for now.

I just booked an appointment for a tune at the local dyno tuner here in Edmonton. soonest is june 17th.

if I can buy a 3000rpm stall by then I will.

$750 bucks for a tune and $150 an hour for any other tuning I want done afterwards with future mods.

srems kinda steep pricewise but that's how it goes in Alberta.
i ran a 13.7 shifting into 5th at 1000ft. and a 2.08 60ft.

I know everybody gave you this same basic idea, but I just want to clarify for you that the first gear on the 6-speeds is a stump-pulling 4.03. Your problem is a product of the granny tune (designed to keep granny out of the ditch) these all come with, with tons of torque management down low and super safe timing. You will feel the tune and you will drop your times, 14s don't sound out of the question, especially if you do a higher stall converter along with (read: before, so you can be tuned to take full advantage of it) the tune. 4.56s would be a riot, but gear swaps on 4x4s are expensive and you're going to be pretty pissed if you bolt on a turbo over the winter and find out you are overgeared in the spring.

Right on. I've never been on the track and they closed the one here so I wanna try it out. When are you planning to run your truck? I'd like to go against another nnbs
