Default 4.10 gears

I have a new set left over. Do you think they will be too low for my truck? Hand held tuner, cai, and borla catback. Has 3.42's now. Btw, even though the dealer says it has an 8.625 rear end but I was told it still is the same old 8.5 gear set. Is this correct??? Comments, suggestions???

I am correct that the regular 8.5" ring and pinion set like in all the earlier trucks will fit my nnbs 07???????

Yes its the exact same. The Only difference is the bearings used..if I'm correct. Someone will chim in that knows more
Do you have 20s or the 17s? If you are running 20s you should see about 2200 @ 70mph roughly
If you stay N/A then go with lower gears, if you go FI I'd stay 3:73-3:90s unless you stay with a tall tire

I put 4:56 gears in my truck and absolutely love them. I have the 275/55/20's and I'm turning 2400 rpm at 70 mph. If you are going to use the same posi unit in your truck that you have in there now you won't need bearings just a new pinion seal and crush sleeve and you are good to go.

You'll love the 4.10's. I'm running mine with 275/45/20's.
