that's not bad, any mods, tire size , tune? dod enabled?
I had an 07 gmt900 as well, with 6.0, 2wd and 3.73 and traded for this 4wd.
My tires are very heavy lt's and it's all urban driving, 11 mpg sucks though.
Truck works good but maybe there is something in my tune that's killing my mpg.

bout the same for me but I had been driving fast to work a few times. Just before I got gas last time I used up quite a bit trying to get to work on time and still managed 16.7 mpg.
had I been on time and drove normal every day I coulda probably gotten 17.5 or better.

Yeah I picked up about 1 MPG going from 3.42's to 4.10's. And picked up 3 tenths in the 1/8 mile and an additional 3 tenths going from the hypercrap to a KICK AZZ WHEATLEY tune!!! And looking to pick up a few more from putting the 17's back on and ditching the heavyweight 20's + dropping an additional 230 lbs of dead weight....

it depends on your long term goals. if you want to run F/I later it would be best to stay with 3.73's

Forced Induction. Supercharger or Turbo. Those work better with 3.73's

Personally I wouldn't go from 3.73 to 4.10's cost to gain just isn't worth it IMO.
