Sorry newb at modding. Got a question. Could anyone in the Houston area tell me a shop or person that would put 4.10 gears in a 08 5.3l silverado ccsb with stock 3.23s. And any idea of total cost for all parts and labor. Everything to install 4.10 gears and detroit trutrac. Thanks sorry just needing to know how much to save never done install before and wouldnt wanna mess anything up.

Gears and tru-trac will be about 700 alone at a shop most likely. so figure maybe 900? That's my guess.
You can get a trutrac and gears on ebay for about 600~

There's a guy/place called Ron's on Ebay that sells a complete install kit with gears, detroit truetrac and install kit. That's what i'd go with. Call him and tell him you want the AAM OEM gear set. You will be very happy with that setup.

Josh when we do your long tubes next weekend remind me to call Flat rate Performance they did the gears in two of my mustangs. Its off of telephone road but if its cheap enough........... I also have a guy in Liberty that can do it.
