These would work nice for you. Nothing better than a lowered truck hauling stuff!

Yep, it sat lower than 7" in the back. I sectioned 3/4" out of the stock shackle, and welded it back up. Lifted the rear 1/2"

Well I am currently running my stock shocks.... I'm pretty sure I have blown them out though. They bottom out over the smallest of bumps. There are a few options for the shocks in the rear. If you aren't running airbags there is always Monroe air shocks part number MA743. I believe that is correct, it was just off the top of my head. There are belltech shocks that will work with 7 inches in the rear. I am trying to find out if any Monroe sensetrac shocks fit the GMT-900 rear 7 inch drop. I will let you know if I find anything.

Nope, it really is up to you. Most notch the frame so they can get extra travel and not bottom out with a 7 inch drop. I chose to add helper bags since I tow and haul stuff with my truck. I have yet to bottom out on my bumpstops and if I ever did, I will just add a few more lbs of air in them. Which is why some guys run those air shocks. $50 shocks that saves you from cutting the frame.

Well the GMT-900's are fuggin tall from the factory so you can go pretty low without a notch. It's up to you though.
