4/6 Drop tire size recommendation?
Ill be dropping my 08, have a DJM 4/6 drop on stand by in my garage. I got the wheels n tires shown on my signature. They're 22" with the 305/40 tire. I doubt that tire will clear after the 4/6 drop.
What tire size would you all recommend I go to with the 4/6? 285/40 or 285/35???

Don't get 295/45/22...lol!
They almost rub when I cut the wheel, I have no drop in the front...I should have went with 285/45/22, I wanted a 2'' drop up front : (

I have a 4/7 drop on my 09 rcsb with 305/40/22. The rear of the tire rubs very little about midway up on the inside fender well. And thats only when you turn the wheels and the truck is on uneven ground. I can't remember my exact offset, so this might not help you much.

tire size depends on your wheel width and offset/backspacing.
Mine were 22x9 with +31mm offset with 285/45/22 which are stock size 32" tall tires. I had 4/7 drop and never rubbed. You get too short a tire and your gonna have a fender gap and look terrible.

ive been looking for the specs on my wheel but it was made in 22x9.5 and 22x8.5. I dont know which one the tire shop got for me!? The other problem is that the tire shop I got them at is no longer there.
