i finally got back out to the track, wanted to see where she stands before i run with slicks and nitrous.... i ran a 9.03 at 77 with some traction issues and a very bad trans tune with jacked up shift points... this was with it dropped down to 3 from d .... i didnt get a time on the pass i made when i walked it through the gears, i feel it was faster ... atleast it spun way more off the line and pulled harder lol ... that is all

 

LOL thats not bad. Almost a 13 second truck! Do you have a stall in that thing or not I cant recall?

 

That's badass 4.8s are nice lil motors and monsters on nitrous

i have said this for a while about the 4.8's..

i remember the older days when i was on fsc.. and how EVERYONE said 4.8's are garbage and dont even mod them up.. dewey

 

Yup right now we are working on a crewcab 4.8 it's an 09 goal for that one is low 13s or high 12s on spray

 

A good H/C and 150 shot should
Net mid 12's easily IMO.

 

I have my full setup in the garage minus the remote bottle opener I want ... probably gonna run 150 shot for now ... I bet I could get mid 13 out of this thing before spray with my 26 tall slicks and my trans tuned for that stall I have now ... There are a lot of 4.8 haters out there, and that's why I got one lol.... I bet it runs mid to low 12 with that 150 shot ... The truck I based mine off was an 07 that ran 12.6 with 150 shot
