4.8 is getting better!!! lol

Yes besides the tune to 25.7 " tires .... I think the truck was having a hard time with the 2 different sized tires ... is there a way to fix this with out buying different tires for the front
#32
nope i was in the same boat as u had to 18s all around but fatter tires on the rear but dude those are badass times is ur truck dropped?

Ya, it's on a 4/6 ... Man that sucks now I have to get 2 more wheels and tires for the front. I thought I read u can pull some fuse out and that would stop the problem but then again I'm not even 100% sure I know what problem the corrected with the abs /traction control fuse .... All I know is that my truck didn't wanna stop !!

No I'm not .... But thanks for the heads up on that... Do u know if pulling that fuse would help with that problem ... Or would smaller wheels and tires be best ... Cuz the truck I built mine off of is running 20's in the front on his 13 second pass ... And small wheels on the 12 second pass

I know pulling the fuse will help but ur abs will not work I never took it off I just put same size wheels with different tires I'd ask some more maybe someone can help on this I'd like to know myself

I have no idea why this exact phenomenon with the brakes is happening but there is VSS feeds on the front wheel hubs as well as the trans. I dont think there is a VSS feed for the rear wheels but I can swear to that. You could probably scale it in HP but Id still want to run the steelies and some skinnies up front. You'll shed more weight and lose rolling resistance which will improve et even more.

Did you log IAT's during your pass or is this just at idle? Once you get hauling they should drop pretty quickly. Im not a big fan of aftermarket intakes for the noise factor but suit yourself. You can swap out the IAT thermistor to a fast reacting kind. Its cheap and easy and will send faster temp changes to the ECM than your stocker. But regardless I think id be dropping in a K&N in the stock airbox and voila ( maybe you already have this? )
Other wise id be dang curious to see if an aftermarket airbox makes any improvement in peak power. Have you dyno'd it yet? Might be a fun experiment to dyno the stock airbox and swap to an aftermarket intake and see if it actually produces more or less.
