Im talking about buying a 6.2 motor to swap into my 08 i wish i had the funds to buy a whole new truck, but being in college is not allowing me that at the time. But as soon as i get out i think I'm going to buy a dd and go hog wild on my 08. I wanna run 12s on 35s

 

Heads, big headers, 3400+ converter, a 6L80e with 4:10s im sure you could do it

 

Psssh, 4.56s or 4.88s for those 35s; come on niff, you're on 4.10s with a 6L80E and normal tires

 

 

So what is actually needed to do the swap. I have a 5.3 2010 tahoe and ive debated putting a 6.2 in it. I know the 5.3 has the AFM does the 6.2 out of an escalade have that aswell? Any additional wiring/sensors that I need? Obviously I know it will need a tune.

 

you dont want AFM. from what iv heard just a tune. other then bore and stroke there the same motor
