Default 6.2 denali question

hello all i have a 2007 sierra denali with the 6.2 i have installed a vararam intake and a cortex superchip a buddy has a silverado ss with a procharger and he installed a vette servo in his tranny
we raced the other night from a stop was close he had me by a fender at 60 pretty close closer than i thought it would be then we took off from 55 and he left me standing still same at 30-35 it was like my truck was reving up but not moving almost like a delayed reaction and his just squated and left me in dust over a truck before we slowed down any suggestions on what i could do to help this out on my superchips i adjusted the torque settings to see if that will work or should i install a vette servo sorry so long thanks, don

Well, having a 6.2L in your '07 Denali means you also have a 6L80, in which case you will not be able to use the Vette servo, as it only fits a older 700R, 4L60 or 4L65.

It all boils down to torque management. Your superchips doesn't get rid of much through the engine and NONE through tHe tranny. A tune from
blackbear or wheatly will make all the difference there. Trust us when we say your trucks potential hasn't even been close to being unlocked yet!

as stated above these transmission dont have a servo, but they do have a built in computer in tranny (tcm) fluid pressure can be altered via tuning.. and well once tuned it will shift harder than trannys with servos.. wheatly and silverbirch can agree with me on how firm shift's are just from hp tuning. (gear scratch like a **** lol) and tuning will def also will help with delay.. i noticed my response delay minimize to almost nothing.
