where do u stay? I believe you need to have your truck in person to tune it because the tcm on ur 6l80 is not accesible so it cant be switched out like a regular pcm mail order. with that being said id go with who ever is closer, both will do a great job. or unless u have hptuners software on hand i think then who ever you choose can email you parameters and instruction on how to about tuning it.. Im saying this but i may be wrong, best bet is to contact who ever you choose to get tuned by and they will let you exactly how it will work.. hope this helps

I'm in the some boat as you, there is no tuner anywhere around here. I have talked to Justin at Black Bear and he is saying the AutoCal from EFILive should be out very soon. With it all us guys that are no where near a tuner will be able to get a tune. I was going to buy the EFILive V2 off Black Bear but decided to hold off for the AutoCal. If you can't wait for a tune get the V2 from Back Bear. It's $799 and it comes with 2 licenses and 1 tune.

what i did for my last truck was buy hpt, copy stock pcm and tcm and emailed it to wheatley.
he fixed me up and sent it back and i installed it
they do enough tunes that they know what you need, live tune is obviously better but if you can't get there this works.
imho, the tcm tuning in the new trucks is very important and most people would think they made a ton more power even if it was just the tranny that got tuned properly.
drives totally different
