6.2 Dyno .... Bolt ons

I agree these are good numbers, however some bolt-ons and certainly a tune will void factory warranty. I am looking at factory vs. factory numbers at 87 octane. I am in sales and my employer pays my fuel bill so I am somewhat concerned to both pay more per gallon (checked today and premium is $.40/gal more than regular) AND possibly get 1.5-3 MPG less than my current 5.3L is getting. Just don't want to mess up a good thing but definetely want to upgrade my truck both in power and features.
^^^^^ if he tunes for 87 octane, he still has 370 hp and 389 tq, still sounds good to me for a bolt on truck! That's a hell of a start over other trucks! After a cam and stall it will be a monster. There are several guys running high to mid 12's on NA 6.2's. How can you beat that for a DD? I'd go for a 6.2 over a 5.3 any day.

Btw. He only added 4 degrees of timing from 87 oct tune... Before he started getting knock
