6.2 gas milage!!
My truck is a 2011 4x4 extended cab 6.2 with 3.73 gears. I have been averaging 18 mpg! I'm very impressed with these results. I have a tonneau cover on it. I drive 32 miles one way to work with 50/50 driving. I have been driving normal not hotdogging it. The worst tank I got was the first tank. It was 14.5 ( I think the dealer put regular when he filled it up). It has gone up from there. Not bad from a 400 horsepower truck! The truck is completely stock.

That's fantastic! You're beating the crap out of my mileage. I don't have the commute, though, so most of my driving is little trips from about two to 10 miles - probably the worst thing for mileage. On the highway I've done up in the 17's, and that was with hardly any miles on the truck, so I think there's a good chance of improvement.
That motor is WORTH IT!

I don't know how you guys are seeing that kind of mileage? Mine is a 2011 Ext cab 6.2 2wd with 3.42 gears and I cant get any better than 12.2 mpg with a mix of freeway and stop and go around town. Truck has 3k miles on it and low 12's is the best it has gotten even with 93 octane.

i average 15 in the city and i drive like an ******* er i mean like im 17.
Since i put 17's on it i can knock down 25/26 on the freeway around 60/65mph.
But driving like that is no fun!! I just fill it up and drive. I keep my trans temp gauge up so i don't keep an eye on the mpgs lol

Well I normally get 11 to mid-12s with mostly short trip in-town driving on 93, and 9 to 11 on E85, so you're not all that bad. My 16 to 17.X were pretty much pure freeway trips.
Mine is still pretty new, too, I just turned over 5,000 mi. I've seen plenty of reports here that the 6.2 continues to improve with age for quite a while.
Keep the faith.
