6.2 / install LS9 cam with 1:8 ration rockers
I'm thinking of installing an LS9 cam and switching to 1:8 ratio rockers. Anyone know if there would be any valve clearance issues on the truck version of the 6.2 using this ratio and that cam?

The LS7 cam is almost the same but with 1.5* less LSA.
From GM Performance Parts Catalog
12638426 LS7 cam I: 211 I: .558 121* Stock LS7 cam E: 230 E: .558 Max lift with 1.8 rockers .593/.588
12638427 LS9 cam I: 211 I: .562 122.5* Stock LS9 cam E: 230 E: .562
(you can do the math for the 1.8's on LS9)
Almost the same specs but if you're staying N/A I would opt for the ever so slightly tighter LSA. That being said you could do a custom grind and tweak the LSA down to 114-117 for more grunt in the heavier truck....Corvettes are 3300 lbs, our trucks are over a 1000 lbs heavier. Just my $0.02, I'll be following to see your final choice and results. Have you considered staying VVT? MAST has some excellent VVT cams.
