Default 6.2 just got back from 2500 mile trip

2572 to be exact. i live in the austin area and my wife and i just got back from a round trip to milwaukee. on the way up to dallas and east to hot springs arkansas i got 19.9 doing 65-70. took scenic route 7 from hot springs arkansas to branson and got 17.1 all mountain roads with steep grades and switch backs. worst mileage of the trip was coming home on the turn pike in oklahoma running 85 i got 16.4. other tanks on the trip were anywhere from 17.5-19. not too bad for a 6.2 4x4 3.42 crew!

broke down to 21 cents a mile if anyone cares

That's great! I can't wait to test my 3.73s on a longer trip one of these days.

Thanks for the report

i was very pleased with the numbers until i hit 80+ mph. if i had to guess i'd say you wouldn't be too far behind me. you are a little less weight being ecsb vs ccsb.

nice mustang. those notchs are my true passion. don't have one right now but i've had plenty and will have more.
