6.2 VVT Cam Video
The first part of the video shows my Comp VVT cam with stock exhaust manifolds and cat-back.
The second part shows the exact same setup with the only change being 1 7/8" Kooks headers and catted Y-Pipe still with stock cat-back.
Cam is Comp 156-401-13 214/228 .559/.571 114 LSA
Just for the record, its too loud for my taste since I'm not 16 anymore.

Dude, thanks for posting this!!! This is the cam I want and exact same LT's . Really wanted to hear what this would sounds like.
What valvesprings are you using?
Who did the tuning?
Any idea on power and torque gains?
Any loss of bottom end tq and one more, are you on the stock converter and how is the vacuum?

Hopefully my cam doesn't increase my noise TOO much...right now it is kind of perfect. A bit loud at startup, but quiets down fast and at idle or cruise cannot be heard in the cab. My cam specs may end up being similar to yours......haven't seen what they came back with yet. Ever dyno'd your truck?

See my answers. I might be selling this cam, PRs, and springs and the required phaser to put a stock L99 cam in with AFM hardware to see what mileage I can get. Just because I fee like it.
I have no exhaust noise during cruise in the cab except for the header noise. I tuned it to drop RPM as fast as I could on cold startup. No dyno.

Because I am not an expert at tuning, unfortunately.
I actually did play with the phaser curve. The stock curve had about 4 degrees of retard at 3500 RPM or so and increased to 8. You could feel that point at 3500 RPM when going WOT. It reminded me of my turbo spooling on my old truck. Very pronounced. I added more retard and smoothed it out so it feels very linear now. Plus more power.
