6.2L Aero Turbine vs borla xr1
Looking for folks that have run them both, just wanted to know their opinions.
I am currently running the aero turbine just welded in place of the stock muffler and tailpipe in its stock placement. Like the Aero Turbine just curious about the borla.

From hearing both, I've never had either. But heard both, I'm pretty sure the Borla will be quieter than the AT.
Have any clips of the aero turbine. I may eventually switch over to one, once I get my tune on my 5.3 liter.

ironically i've recently been looking for the same answers. In my research, I have fear of drone with the aero. Nonetheless, I keep going back to this video clip...
Aero Turbine Exhaust on a 2011 GMC Sierra 5.3L - YouTube
not our exact setup but a beautiful sound. reminds me of a mustang, which has one of the best tones on the road imo.

I have just welded up a 3535 Aero and it's pretty damn loud even with the stock resonator. I'll try get a vid/audio clip tomorrow of it. Mind you I have headers and high-flow cats. It sounds very clean until wot where it gets raspy. I don't have any drone but it's very loud. I think adding the aero resonator will help alot with the raspy/crackle sound. It's very rumbly for sure. If you don't have lt's, you probably wont need the resonated version of it.

You and me both. I so wanted to buy a 3030 for my 5.3 liter after watching this vid. Only thing that stopped me was that I was not ready to get my tune yet. I will probably be doing a tune in the next 30 days so I may be switching to an AT3030 or a Magnaflow Race muffler like I had on my old 07 4.8 liter.
