I have noticed alot of y'all are running shift points over 6k.
I just find it weird that the Tach stops at 6k. I have always noticed that the stock tack usually runs past the redline.

Red lines cost too much........
You are driving an auto, so it doesn't matter where the red line is, its limited before it and it shifts before the limiter...I guess thats the reasoning.
I don't think the 4.3 with the stick even has a tach. I haven't seen one in years...and all the V8 engines are mated to a slush box.

Thats too funny. I'd love to raise the rev limiter just worried to blow up the motor as everywhere else it says 5900 max. That would be hard to explain to the dealer.
