6L80 & 6.2 shifts?

I have looked at a few tunes from some "professional tuners", and it's no wonder why they dont shift worth a darn. There shouldn't be a "delay" on any of the upshifts, if it is done right. There are a few parameters that they are not even touching, that in my experience, is crucial to getting it right. Making sure the upshift pressures correctly match the desired shift times is important, otherwise, the trans has too much learning to do, which results in a changing shift feel.
I get a slight scratch on the 1-2, and the 2-3 and 3-4 are both crisp, with no delay and no slamming into gear. TM is 50% for the 1-2 and 30% for the rest. Part throttle shifts are just slightly more firm that stock, but not anything a passenger would even notice.

Are there any recommendations I could make to my tuner using EFILive on cleaning up the shifts a little more?

the tunes vary on how much tm is taken out, if there is torque reduction on upshifts, down shifts and how the person drives.
a ***** out drag tune is vastly different than a DD tune.

go back to the stock trans file. change the shift rpm to 6100 on pattern, normal/a/b and tutd
up the full throttle shift 2-3 mph
shift torque factor
.75 as a start. adjust to your liking. remember, by changing this, you will have to adjust shift times and pressures. you'll see why if you don't.
tcc limit - disable
max torque - 650 or higher for force inducted vehicles.
stall torque mngt enable - 8000
disable - 7900
this is more than enough to get your feet wet.

You can do 0.3--adapts on, line pressure up, and TM is an argument that some say cut and some say don't. I believe that it should be kept (atleast to a certain extent), because of the rev-matching, but lessen the timing reduction at high rpm/load in the minimum final timing spark table.
