Default 6L80E Triple disc converter.

Who has a triple disc and has the lock up feature working properly?
My Coan 2800 locks in 3,4,5,6 normal driving and WOT. Just curious how other people are making out with theirs?

My TCM is set to lock the same way 3-6 and at WOT. Some of the lock/unlock speeds need to be tweaked a little but it's pretty close. Particularly, I think the lock speed for 5th is too low as it lugs a little.

Same here. I have a 2800 that locks up fine and made a big difference when I had the whipple installed and had it set to lock up starting in 3rd at WOT.

If I'm just cruising normally in drive, it locks right after it goes into third. To me it's annoying, seems like it should lock at a higher vehicle speed. At wide open in locks in 3,4,5,6 around 4600ish rpm.

There are tables in the tune file that can be adjusted to have the converter lock up at a later time so it isn't as harsh during normal driving.

Mine drives normal and it's hard to tell a difference unless I am at WOT in or after 3rd when it locks up just after the shift. I believe it's all in the tune file and doesn't have to do with your actual converter.

Mine definitely loves power. The more I throw at it the better it works.

I have mine locking at 80mph in 3rd @ wot! That's about 5500rpm. But on normal acceleration it locks at 45ish or right after it shifts into 3rd!
