There is no difference in "cam kits" unless you are buy a roller rocker setup. The 4* split all the way to a 20* split fits the motor. Only issue you have to worry abput is piston to valve clearance the more split you run.
4-8* split unless you plan on running a big converter. BAD *** VHO proves that a 4* split in a Rectangle head runs big numbers and a 222/230 in a 6.0 CCSB runs a 12.78 @ 105 with a lil 278mm 3200
