Default 99-05 headers and cats?

I know from reading posts that the 99-05 headers fit nnbs trucks. At least 2wd. What I haven't found is what is exactly needed to be done to make the headers and Y pipe fit? Does the length to the cat-back need changed? Bends not close to fitting? What...?

I think the oil pan is deeper on the 6speed trans, but 4speed should be alright...

07-08 needs the stock exhaust to be cut back about 2-3"
the 09+ will need the Y-pipe modified to fit bc the transmission pan is different.
