Just an FYI . . .

On trcuks with factory installed NAV the backup camera image is displayed on the NAV screen. On those WITHOUT factory NAV, it's displayed on the rear view mirror.

I wonder if it can routed from the mirror to the nav unit then? I would likely keep it where it is (unless it is possible for it to appear in both places) because I would rather be looking into the mirror while I back up than into the cabin of the vehicle. Somehow I will find a way to swap in the factory nav AND Bose into my truck and have everything work.

My guess is that the video signal could be split and run to BOTH the mirror and the NAV screen simultaneously.

Someone with MUCH more electronics knowledge than myself needs to chime in, though.

I would like to say that is shouldnt be too difficult, but dont really know. Im thinking they might be using the same plug in at the mirror and on the nav unit. Good luck hooking everything up.....

what are the odds, someone would be interested in all the factory nav stuff out of my 07 thats currently in it? I've been debating going aftermarket for a while now.
