Adding Factory powered running boards?

rice eater....were you ever able to make them work with factory functionality? I am in the process of retro fitting some power steps as well and was just curious if you ever got it all worked out and what relays did you use so I could order the same!

Got mine done.
Bought a set from an Escalade to put on my truck. You will not and cannot use the factory programming.
These factory boards are nicer than aftermarkets.

I haven't got a chance to put mine on...since you have... how did you mount them and how did you make them work? I bought some basicly timers and was going to do it that way. curious how you made it work tho!!
