try this link for the electrical manual , used it the other day on a truck that had a short ... without out it it would have been pretty hard to trace down

if you are changing out the bcm be careful as it holds a lot of info , you may be better off just using yours and flashing what you need into it , pm your email address and I'll fill you in ...

Well i finally got the door panels on, regulators in, custom wiring harness made to run along with dash harness and it all works, save for the power locks..
If you get the correct switches then this is quite simple.. if not then good luck, essentially the switches are each just a relay, driver side controls passenger side through a twisted pair of wires.. really simple. They work like a champ even the auto down function on both side.. still need to pin the lock signal and unlock signal to the BCM and try to get that working, i have them pinned but think they are on the wrong plug.
There are i think 7 plugs on the BCM i know which one to look for i just dont know which ones are which.. Going to go lot hunting and find one with similar locks and such and test drive it and dive under the dash and take pics..
Thats the easiest way i can figure to know im doing it correctly..
Then get the truck reflashed since i have the 12v signal to the DLC now..
and hopefully it will all work.

So.. i have a guy that was kind enough to dig into the lock wiring for me.. The system will all be totally wired up like factory just not thru the factory harness. and the door locks will be changed for locks that will function..
now i just need to know how the hell i talk to the dealer and get the BCM to accept these functions..
What do i say to them.. Do i need to show up with a VIN of a truck with the options i have added?
Any help would be appreciated..

Staging Lane
HAHAHA I came from a 2001 Sierra WT..never again. Got a LTZ silverado and I will buy nothing but the loaded ones from now on.
They are completely different even on the older trucks. It's ridiculous.

We’re you able to do the power window conversion?
As ive stated i have the power windows figured out using the stock switches, modified harness , and stock regulators..
The Power Locks thing is driving me nuts though..
Just cannot figure it out. Need a total system diagram and GM is so damn vague in their operation description that it is impossible..
If anyone can dig up some better info on the power lock system on a TRUCK with NO DOOR MODULES please feel free to PM this information over..
