Default Advice on Fuel system upgrade

Has anyone done a fuel system upgrade. Im going with 60 to maybe 80lb injectors on my truck and was wondering if anyone has done any fuel system upgrades like fuel pumps and injectors.

From my personal experience, the flex fuel pumps start to drop off around 600 crank horsepower. Im running FAST 65lb injectors, and made 558rwhp with the pump dropping off from 65psi at the start of the run, to 34psi at the end.

If your staying NA, the stock pump no matter flex fuel or not, should give you what you want. If going FI, anything over 600 at the crank, I would start looking into some type of upgrade.

I'm not flex fuel and wanting 700 crank hp, I also have the FPCM and heard you can't just throw an aftermarket pump in it bc the variable voltage pump crap

That is correct. Im in the process of trying to find a way to tune out the fpcm now and going with a return style system.

I'm running a Lonnie's dual pump and return system. It's pretty easy to defeat the FPCM. I'm using the trigger wire from the ECM to FPCM to trigger the aftermarket fuel pump relays. You have to use a transistor to make this work.
You just remove the fuse from the FPCM and tune out the code that sets in the ECM. Racetronix makes the fuel pump wiring harness and relays. I got the transistor from Andy at ADM Performance. Lonnie's performance dual pump setup and I bought all the hoses and fittings from him too. I'm running E85 and fuel system has worked great.
