the recall paper i have does not have a recall number or anything on it but it does have a telephone number 1.866.996.9463 it says what the gmc dealer will do is remove the accoustical padding above the SDM. This service will be performed for you at no charge. any questions contact your GMC dealer or customer assistance at the above number.


Correct.. I called that number, double checked the recall number.. And now am scheduled for the dealer to look at the truck and probably clean the carpets and look at the Air Bag Module .. I am going to try and get them to replace the carpet, starting to smell musty due to the third brakelight leaking.
Also i mentioned to the lady on the phone about the leak, she is going to get the ball rolling on another recall for that..

Mine has been cracked in 3 different places since I got the truck.

Mine was full of water one day and i noted that all the lights were shattered due to water contact.. I thought about that when my seatbelt was wet one morning too..

Im going to start a thread and see who else has this..
