Default Another 6.2 CCSB

Well here is my so so build up thread... I picked up a 2011 GMC Sierra CCSB 6.2/6 speed auto. My plans are Kooks LT, cam, converter, Magnaflow muffler and who knows what else. I think a belt driven air intaker would be fun but I do not want to go that far on a daily driver.

Nice rig. Sounds like you'll be taking your build further than I've gone with mine I'm just intake, tune, muffler on a level with 33s. An LS9 cam is sounding nicer every day though

If you're even considering forced induction for the future a TVS 1900 "belt driven air intake" would be 100% daily driver friendly. 120 horsepower at the flywheel and loads of torque immedietly available. Look into it and compare power gains per dollar spent on a TVS versus the LT's, cai, cam, converter, muffler (include labor cost if you're not doing the work yourself). Just something to consider...

Love the GMC front end! I daily mine boosted 20K miles last year. Improved gas mileage and more fun too!

Nemesis is right; a TVS would be way more DD-friendly than a decent cam and its requisite converter. The cost of full bolt-ons plus a cam isn't much better than a blower either.
