I want the road runner PCM if you sell the GMC since it won't work in a GMT900.

BTW the 07 seem to be specific on the wiring. I would steer away from a 1st year model as the always seem to have special parts that are specific or other issues that get taken care of later in production.

Cool deal Corey , I think you'll like the NNBS trucks , I really do like mine .

I think with a family though you'll like the crew cab but it's up to you .

Cody does have a nice truck if he still has it .
Like said just up your boost a little if your afraid of the weight , but don't let weight affect your decision for the look/Function of your next truck , going from 2wheel to 4x4 will show you how much fun you've been missing when you can put that power to the ground and launch like a **** , it's awesome.

Make sure what ever you get you delete that DOD ****.

If you want a EC or CC now that you have a little one then get a crew. Next truck I get will be a CC. To me the EC is not anywhere near enough room for more then two people. I never tried putting my car seat in mine but it looks like it would be cramped as all hell.

Get a crew cab, no way I'll ever own another ext cab... I don't honestly know why they're even built anymore.

Get an 09 or newer, seems like the 07-08's have weird electrical problems. Chances are you'll end up with a 6L80 if you're wanting a few options, especially a few years newer. I'd keep it.

If I were you, I'd just hold out and get a 14'+... The GMT900's in general were a big let-down to me.. Only reason we got one is because my wife wanted it lol. I would have gotten a low mile 06-07c... I'd still like to get an 07 classic CCSB Z71.

One reason why the back seat is removed in my 00' , it's too cramped back there , besides the weight savings

Yeah Cody told me to get an 09'-up as they had better stuff plus the 6L80, you don't want another 60-70E .

But I hated the rear of my Dmax crew cab inside , not much room over the ext cab and the seat sucked , plus the way it folded was terrible , the NNBS CCs rear seat is wayyy better and very comfortable , the kids/wife love it . Of course more leg room would be nice but that's why we are going to buy a newer Suburban.

I agree!!! I am contemplating getting a new 14+ truck my self. I definitely don't want a first year but the Newer platforum seems so much more promising than the GMT 900.

I want to see what happens with the Diesel line up. I hear the DPF and some of the other Junk are being removed as they decrease milage and are not living up to new emission standards.

2014s are out of the question. My wife is gonna make me pay cash so no notes. It would take years to save up 40k and besides i am not gonna buy a truck new just to slice up and abuse.

I am budgeting around 20k tops

No one said you had to buy it new...

Give it a few years and they will be used. I already started seeing 2014's on the used market here.

06-07 classic crew would be your best bet if you're wanting to mod it with parts off your reg cab. I agree with Tim that the 800 trucks don't have quite the room that the 900's have but I'll sacrifice that for better overall interior and build quality, thicker exterior panels, sound electronics etc... The fact that the dash in my 07 has a hole in it you can put your fist thru pisses me off every time I get in it. I'd love to sell this thing and get an older truck again. I agree, the 14's are stupid expensive but damn they're much nicer than what has been built for a long time.

For the sake of expense, headache, and ease of swapping your mods, I'd get a used 07 classic.
