Default Anyone try 305x50r20 rubber?

Anyone try 305x50r20 rubber? Looks like they might fit on stock 20x8.5" wheels but I don't know about 20x10s.

I don't like the pizza cutter look of my 275x55r20s and I really don't like the stocker LS2s.

I thought the same thing when I read it, but it makes sense. At first it's a nice wide wheel, but when you get used to it you get this feeling like it's flippin NARROW.

The 305's will fit if your truck is stock height, using the stock wheels. Same overall diameter, but wider. Not sure about the 20x10's, offset will play a factor in that.

I've always had trucks with 12-13" section width tires on them. So the 275s seem a bit weenie. My GMT800 looked fine with 265s on it. Plus, these trucks look wide from behind so they need tires to match in order to have the proper proportions. And lastly, these trucks seem to have a bad case of understeer so I'm hoping some wider and less crappy rubber will help with that. The current rubber gets within 1/2" of hitting the wheelhouse. So, I suspect it'd be close with 305x50s and the stock 20x8.5 22mm offset wheels, depending on how "square" the tire was. And I figured 20x10 wheels would hit unless they had some serious offset.

LS6BEAST, do you happen to have any more pictures of that truck with those tires on it?

i agree, 10.83" width does look pretty skinny. those 305s would look great, they're 12" wide.
