Well I haven't tuned my truck yet. STILL. Still going over the endless debate about who to use. Totally worried about getting a tune that will frag the motor, or more importantly the trans. And I don't trust any one local to tune on the 6L80E. I stumbled across that link when putting together some research for a jk LS swap at work. Just curious if any one here had experience with them.

 

how come your doubting black bear or wheatley or even nelson for that matter, they all have good reviews and a large customer base. I know black bear has probly tuned over 500 6l80e vehicles cause he also does camaro's and what not too!

 

Here's a big for Black Bear Performance. I got Justin's email tune on my engine and trans shortly after I got the truck. After a couple fine-tune adjustments (easy with AutoCal) it's been right on ever since. If I do mods I can go back for a free re-tune.

AutoCal: it's the next best thing to being there.

 

I am using Rhino79 on here to tune my 2013 SS and his work on these 6L80Es are just so good! I wouldn't use SOME of the ones stated above thats just my honest opinion not after 1 of those telling me these transmissions are super weak SMH I'll stop there. Yes I can back that up too. I am super picky on who tunes my cars but Ryan is so great he tuned it with an autoCal and pretty much dead on after I drove 5hrs to get a dyno tune. My car has been running 11s with just headers intake and pulley FYI.
