Default Belltech drop struts

Anyone have experience with them, and exact measurements of the drop amount they got? I'm trying to keep the same ride height I had with mcg's 2" coils and stock struts, but am still 3/4" higher with the belltech struts and no spacers or bumpstops on them. Anyone mount the lower mount of the strut under the LCA instead of on top? I know this would put more stress on the contol arm and the bolts to secure the strut to the arm, but has it been done?

your MCG coils were probably sagged to 3", heard alot of complaints on MCG coils. I got exactly 2" with my struts and no spacers, then I added a 1" ground force drop coils when I was at 5" front drop.

That's kind of what I figured. Did you see how little travel that strut has left with no spacers? The aftermarket bumpstop sits on the shock body. I'm sure you removed or cut down the bumpstop to add a drop coil

I JUST got done swapping out my POS McGaughys 2" coils. I put the BellTech 2" coil and the BellTech strut back in it's place, with the BT strut set to "1" lower than stock" (for a total of 5" in the front now, I have the MCG spindles as well), and it's roughly 1.25" taller than the sagging MCG's that were just removed, that were supposedly a 2" coil. Go figure, the truck rides better, and is actually aligned again!
