I got my K&N kit today. Guys at work thought I'd gotten an exhaust. Nope just CAI. I love it. Its a good start. Still need exhaust, headers and tune. Then Im done for performance on it.

well i just got a random call from banks power...wanting to know if i was still intersted in there system..there on sale today for $358..i said what was the power gains again..and he told me 19hp and 22ftlbs...last time it was 23hp and 27ftlbs..maybe its a differnt model or kit..anyways just thought it was intersting...

fyi...i ordered and installed my S&B intake yesterday haha... im pretty impressed with the setup and how open the air box is yet still sealed off from the hot eng temps..everything is pretty damn smooth..you can really tell they specilize in filters i can really see a diff in there filters from some of the compations..i also assumed the plexi glass cover just had a sticker on it that says S&B..but its actually milled in to the cover..veryyy easy install also..they actually send u real pics of how to remove the factory stuff and installing the new stuff...soo +1 for them!!

Glad you like it. I have 15k on my truck since the install. Everything still tight and looking good.

Hey Rice eater 03, how do you like the pacesetters on your truck? I want some headers and Ive used pacesetter before. I keep reading blah blah blah ARH, SS, Kooks and Dynatech but what about the pacesetters? I found some new for less than $400 coated. Did you have to modify any thing for fitment?
