4 whp
6ft lbs from the mit on my truck. zero tune change. 3 pulls on stock tube, 5 min switch, 3 pulls with the mit.

you can run 12's on the stock air box and have over 375whp as well with a k&n drop in.

I googled it and seen it was a aluminum intake. I'd stay away from those due to heat soak!

Think of it this way... What do engineers use as heat sinks, it sure is NOT plastic. Plastic retains heat as it is a very good insulator. Aluminum dissipates heat. which is also why it gets hotter, however the air in the tubing tract remains closer to ambient. In my many logging of different set ups, aluminum intakes had lower IAT than the plastic counterparts.

Look at the result for yourself

This is what I have...well, I bought the Airraid jr. kit from summit today for $152 even with free shipping. They price matched from an online vendor.

+1. I definitely could tell there was some gain once Justin "re-tuned" it for the cai.

Well I went with Vararam Tri Power! I got it on sale before Christmas and paid under 300 for it! Very noticeable difference, I have a video on here racing my brother and he outran me by a tenth in the 1/8 before the CAI!! Not anymore!! I haven't had it hooked back up to the computer and see what can be adjusted in the tune! Hopefully a lil bit more can come out of it!

ive done this twice...on both of my trucks. k & n drop in filter stock box and cut off silencers. throttle response is alot better and a good tune.. mine runs like a beast imo.. and it only cost me 50 for the drop in.. to cover the holes on the intake tube i used bondo fiberglass.. never had any problems....
