I highly recommend S&B intakes. Ive installed them on anything from an S10 to a Duramax and they have fit well and helped throttle response and IAT's everytime. It's a dry filter so no worried of MAF contamination and they look great! I have one on my 07 5.3. They're not outrageously expensive either.

Looks like they offer them withNan oiled filter too.

How many people actually payed attention to the original post? How many of you are simply talking out your ***?

It's been stated that he has the two bolt maf type, and yet people still post parts for the card style MAF and make suggestions that are impossible with the 2bolt style.

Who is talking out their ***? All I see is a question asking what the best CAI is for the money and most have replied with their opinions. I don't see him mentioning anything about what type of MAF he has...

Okay, are you going to offer him a CAI for a 1993 Honda? Why would anyone mention one that wasn't for his application in the first place? It's misleading, especially when some people don't have the first clue about what MAF they have. You can't all assume that since someone can find a truck website and post a question that they know what they need. His sig has 2012 in it, therefore it is the job of knowledgeable members to lead him in the right direction.

This is yet another reason why "performancetrucks" is lacking in "performance".

Don't mind me. I'll avoid mentioning any mistakes the contributing members of this site continue to make. I feel sorry for the guys coming here that actually want and need reputable help.

Well not sure who gave miss leading info, I know I didn't.....

I looked at his sig, he has the exact same truck I do just a year new so I recommended what I did and is working excellent. Most the post I saw followed on suit of what I recommended....
