From blackbear or from the posters in the thread haha. Im thinking of just gettin it dyno tuned but who knows if this is cheaper then ill do it and have a couple tunes loaded into that autocal thing one for towing, one for performance, and one stock.

I emailed Justin with some questions and got a pretty quick response. FYI, some of the answers to my questions were in the following, which relate to some of the questions in this thread:
Since you have a 6.2L engine, your only option really is going to be premium fuel. The engine's compression ratio dictates that. There is also no difference between a performance and gas mileage tune, your foot will determine that. The differences in files can largely come in the transmission setup on your truck.

I currently have a nelson tune. But I have been thinkin about goin with black bear and using the autocal. I was wanting one 93 tune, a nitrous tune, and a tune for maybe a lil more octan than 93.

Everyone says that the autocal is the way to go tho. I like the idea of being able to log data and send it to him. But i was also, thinkin for the same price i could get hptuners and start tuning and learning that myself.

Autocal is with a doubt the way to go!! Justin at blackbear does an excellent job and will continue to work with you until it is spot on!

I agree there is no difference in a MPG tune vs a performance tune per say cause they both are tweaked to run at peak efficiency espicially with the performance tune. Just keep it under 2k when city driving and dont haul *** on the highway.

Hell's bells, I AM a grandpa but moments of maturity like that are rare since I got this 6.2. It's just so much FUN!
