Brake squeal with Mcgaughy drop spindles
Has anyone had their brakes squealing when they make turns real tight with mcgaughys drop spindles? The spindles only have the 2bolts that bolt to the bearing assembly and the stud at the top. I believe the lack of a bolt at the top is causing allowing the rotor to flex to hit the side of the pads... Has anyone had the problem or a solution to it?
Wheeeewwww ! That was a long post lol

I have the belltechs and dont notice that problem. Only issue ive had is ABS will freak out sometimes when coming to a stop in a turn, like pulling into a parking spot...
Though, I have always had squeeky front brakes, I have found the front pads glaze easy and cause squeeks. Sanding the rotor some and driving helps that.

On mcgaughys there are only 2 on the bottom corners and the top one is a stud ... I think that is where the flex is coming from to allow the rotor to rub the pads when I turn ... I should just weld that sucker up lol

It could be flexing some, but out of all the guys running MCG spindles your the only one that I have heard of having an issue...
The rim rubbing the lower ball joint is a good suggestion.. Mine actually rubbed my rim some too before I trimmed it down more but it made a grinding noise lol.
