Default Cal-speed headers

I am thinking of ordering the 1-7/8 for my 6.2 has anyone done these? If so how is the fitment? What are the pros and cons, did you have to fabricate anything?

You get what you pay for.

Do a quick search on their fit and you will see quite a few threads about them.

If it was me i would save your money a little longer and look into American Ra icing Headers or Kooks.

I have yet to get a straight forward answer from anybody on this topic! I spoke with a guy from calspeed last wk asking the fitment with the 6 spd and he said they have not installed a set in house but they have sold them to ppl with 6 spds and they didnt say they had any fitment issues.
I say you buy them and be the first "for sure" answer

Im not 100%, but I think the only fitment issues are on the 4wds which I also think are only minor. BrutalSierra is a 6.2 cc 2wd and from what I read has them, but has not put them on yet.

as far as getting what you pay for? I'd gladly pay $350 again for the same horsepower gains (give or take one or two) as $1k+ headers. I was one of the first to install a set, and still have no real issues from the actual headers. Are they the best quality, no! Do they do their job, yes!

I'd run these or the DNA or OBX all day due to proven results on forums.

Jim was supposed to test fit these things on a NNBS, guess he is slacking in the department.

ETA, correct BrutalSierra has these, forgot me and him discussed the headers before he bought.

I have a long running thread over at gmfs (check my sig) and here

It also depends where you live. For me I would never get them cause I have seen what a couple winters does to them.
